Steady in Him ♱

A short poem

Man calls the humble weak and low, Yet scoffs at those who dare to grow.

Man claims to love the honest tongue, Until the truth cuts sharp and stung.

Man cheers at success, then tears it down, They cast a smile, then forge a frown.

Man cries for peace, yet fuels the fight, They chase the dark, then beg for light.

Christ is firm—He does not change, His love stays true, not cold or strange.

Why entertain the world’s cruel game, Its fleeting praise, its shifting blame?

The world will twist, its views will sway, But He alone remains the way.

So seek His voice, let go of theirs, For only He, is just and fair.

(A reminder that the approval of this world is temporary, but the approval of Christ is eternal.)
